Waldport Demonstration Garden

A weed is a plant that has mastered every skill except for learning how to grow in rows.”

Doug Larson, American scientist and author
Our Garden
The Waldport Demonstration Garden is located on the campus of the Oregon Coast Community College at 3120 S Crestline Dr, Waldport, OR. Established in 2023, it is the newest of our gardens and a great place to see a garden in its beginning stages. It's purpose is three-fold. It is a place where Master Gardner apprentices can learn the art and science of gardening. It is also a functional garden for growing food for the community and a quiet oasis where you can enjoy flowers and dig in the soil.
Arrange a Visit

The garden is open for viewing on Wednesdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm from May through October. Master Gardeners will be present to answer any of your gardening questions and to show you some of the unique features of this garden.

Volunteer Opportunities

Would you like a guided tour? Would you like to volunteer at the garden? Drop us a note. We'd love to partner with you in our garden.
