From April 7th through October 29th, the Clinic is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 12 noon.

We're located in the Oregon State University Extension Office, 1211 SE Bay Blvd., Newport, OR 97365. If you are coming in person, feel free to bring photos as well as plant or insect samples (no hazardous plants or live insects, please!)

Common Diseases and Pests in the Garden (Lincoln City)

In this class you will earn to identify and manage the most common insects and pests that affect vegetable gardens in the Pacific Northwest. This class covers recognizing pest damage, understanding beneficial insects, and using practical, environmentally responsible treatment strategies. Participants will gain the skills needed to respond effectively to pest problems while protecting plant health and garden ecosystems.

Seed Starting (South Beach)

In this class you will learn how to successfully start vegetables from seed for a strong, healthy garden. This class covers timing, containers, soil mixes, light and temperature requirements, and proper care of seedlings from germination through transplanting. Participants will gain the confidence and practical knowledge needed to grow vigorous starts and extend the growing season.
